Master Tadeo Hamed Liceaga Carrasco earned his Master’s degree in the Humanities with a concentration in History in 2015 and his Bachelor’s degree in History from the National School of Anthropology and History in 2010. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate pursuing studies in the Social Sciences and Humanities program at the Cuajimalpa Campus of the UAM.

He serves as a research professor in the Department of Politics and Culture at the Xochimilco Campus of the UAM. His teaching focuses primarily on the "History and Society" and "Mexico: Political Economy and Society" modules within the core curriculum of the Social Sciences and Humanities Division.

His research interests include the history of science in Mexico, intellectual history—particularly regarding France and Mexico during the 19th and 20th centuries—and the history of religious transformations in the 19th century.
In the publishing field, he directs the journal Política y Cultura as editor-in-chief since March 2024 and has been involved in editorial activities for academic journals for fifteen years. Additionally, he attends professional development courses in the publishing field, such as workshops on markup using the Marcalyc system and the SciELO Publishing Schema.
