Professor Raúl Eduardo Cabrera Amador is a Social Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, (UAM) Xochimilco Campus. He has been a Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the Universidad Iberoamericana (1989-2001); in the Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and Public Mental Health at the Universidad Autónoma de Morelos (1994-1997); in the Master's Degree in International Cooperation at the Instituto Mora (2009-2012); in the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, the Master's Degrees in Rural Development and in Social Psychology of Groups and Institutions and the Ph.D. in Social Sciences at the Xochimilco Campus of the UAM (2011-2020), where he is currently a Professor since 2011.

He is the author of several articles and collective books on topics related to the constitution of social and political subjects. In 2012, he published the book Millennium Development Goals and Food Security in Chiapas: Overcoming or Deepening Inequalities? edited by the Mora Institute, in 2015 he coordinated the edition and is author of the book "They want to bury us, they forget that we are seeds. El devenir de las nuevas insurgencias, published by Unidad Xochimilco of UAM and Juan Pablos Editor, and in 2018 he published the book "A contracorriente: el entorno de trabajo de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil en México", published by Unidad Xochimilco of UAM and Instituto Mora.

He has articles published in national and international journals and book chapters in several publications. Since 2015, he is a member of the National System of Researchers.
