Doctor Hector Jardón-Valadez is a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM). He is a founding professor of the Department of Land Resources at the Lerma Campus.
He has National Researcher Level I recognitions. His work in research projects has materialized in the publication of 13 articles in indexed journals, four book chapters, ten conferences as an invited speaker, and 15 papers presented in specialized events. To date, his work has been cited around 238 times.
Professor Jardón-Valadez has promoted the formation of collaborative networks in different institutions through his participation in funded projects (CINVESTAV-UAM, Lerma Campus), research stays at the Free University of Berlin, and the organization of national and international academic events. Professor Jardón-Valadez's academic experience is also supported by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. He is a collaborator of the Research Support Network at the National Institute of Nutrition and is responsible for research projects, both within UAM and at the National Supercomputing Laboratory.
In the field of university management, he has been coordinator of academic commissions, representative of professors before collegiate bodies, President of the Divisional Review Commission, and Head of Area. In activities of dissemination and preservation of culture, Dr. Jardón-Valadez has participated in radio programs and given lectures to the general public. At the same time, he has promoted collaboration among the professors of the three divisions of the Lerma Campus through the development of research projects and the organization of seminars, workshops, and extracurricular courses.
