Profile
Professor Catalina Éster Haro Pérez holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Granada (Spain). She completed a 3-year postdoctoral stay at the Institute of Physics of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi (Mexico).
She has been working at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus since 2010 and is currently a Professor C. She has published 26 articles in international peer-reviewed and indexed journals, seven book chapters, and ten full-length proceedings. She has participated in about 50 national and international conferences and has given more than ten seminars in research centers and universities.
Her lines of research deal with topics of Soft Condensed Matter such as structure, dynamics, and rheology of colloidal suspensions, glass transitions, colloidal stability, among others.
She has been responsible for two research projects funded by Conacyt and a project funded by Prodep. She is a member of the National System of Researchers (Level II) and has participated as a Conacyt evaluator in numerous calls for proposals.
