Profile

Dr. Alfonso Jorge Quevedo Martínez has a background in industrial engineering and holds two master's degrees, one in educational management and one in teaching, as well as a PhD in administration. This academic background has enabled him to develop a multidisciplinary profile connecting education, industry and organisational management, with a foundation in critical thinking and a strong commitment to social responsibility.

In academia, he teaches, trains professionals, shares knowledge, and participates in academic events such as conferences, seminars, and specialized forums in both engineering and educational management. Throughout his career, he has developed academic projects focused on improving administrative processes, enhancing educational quality, and driving organizational development, contributing to applied knowledge and the transformation of educational and industrial environments.

During his time as a Maintenance and Production Manager in the industrial sector, he introduced technological innovations that lowered energy consumption and boosted productivity. He has integrated these experiences into academia by developing case studies, teaching materials, and training proposals, thereby strengthening a competency-based teaching approach and connecting education with professional practice.

His entrepreneurial journey in the restaurant sector sharpened his organizational and operational vision, allowing him to bridge theory and practice by designing management models tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises. This experience enhances his academic work and supports the social engagement promoted by SNII by addressing real needs in both the productive and educational sectors.

He focuses his academic work on creating social impact, aiming to continuously improve educational, administrative, and production processes while training professionals with critical thinking skills and a sense of social responsibility. His perspective aligns with current academic standards, addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges, and promoting equity, sustainability, and human development.

In addition, he holds practical knowledge in various technical areas, including automotive mechanics, household and industrial electricity, plumbing, computer and internet use, personnel management and leadership, working under pressure, academic advising at the high school and university levels, and basic first aid.
