Doctor David Mora Torres, is the Director of the CAVI architectural office for housing, a doctor of architecture, and Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus.

He has developed a unique practice for the exercise of his profession through the installation of architectural offices in the tianguis of the metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico. With more than 600 housing and neighborhood improvement actions plus a wide repertoire of architectural consultations, with 22 years of experience.

Author of books and research articles related to the topics of neighborhood improvement, urbanism, housing, and popular neighborhoods, the Mexican pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale, and the Documentary "Making City" winner at the 2014 Chile Biennale, among other academic and professional achievements.

With the following work trajectory: Designer, marker, and distributor of street advertising later, unpaid bricklayer, and architect in architectural offices for housing in mobile markets, in parallel with teaching in secondary, high school, undergraduate and postgraduate.
