Profile
Professor Karen Miranda holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Lille I, in France, a master's degree in Information Sciences and Technologies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In 2014, she completed a postdoctoral stay at Inria Lille - Nord Europe in France. She was a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Iztapalpa Campus of UAM and visiting professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Systems at Cuajimalpa Campus.
Her research interests focus on the design and evaluation of protocols for sensor networks and mobile relay networks. Dr. Miranda is a Professor attached to the Department of Information Systems and Communications at the Lerma Campus of the UAM, where she has also been head of the Information Systems and Computer Science Area.
