Profile
Dr. Ana Laura Esquivel Campos works on studies related to anti-obesity and anti-inflammatory responses. She focuses on altering the adipocyte differentiation cycle through molecules obtained from microorganisms and helminths. Additionally, she has contributed significantly by exploring the anti-inflammatory activity and mechanisms of action of isolated compounds from medicinal plants of Mexican origin.
She teaches at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels and has been involved in the dissemination of science at both national and international levels. Recognition for Desirable Profile (PRODEP).
The Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana has awarded her the University Merit Medal.
