Profile

Professor Felipe González-Montañez was born in Mexico City and studied Electrical Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) in 2009. In 2011 he received his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Mexico City. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAm), Mexico City in 2021.

He is currently working in the Department of Energy at UAM. His research interests include modeling and control of electrical machines.
