Profile

Professor Luis Fernando Rivero Rodríguez was born in November 1980 in Mexico City. Regarding his academic training, he has 100% of the credits of the doctorate in Thanatology at the Mexican Institute of Psycho-oncology, Master of Science in Health Sciences of Workers graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus 2005-2007, Bachelor of Nursing graduated from the same institution 1999-2003, he has studied diploma courses in gerontology, teaching skills, has continuous updating in courses related to areas of health and pedagogy,

From 2008 to date, he has been a Professor at the Xochimilco Campus in the module of Nursing Care of the elderly in the community, growth, and development of schoolchildren and adolescents, head of research area health and work in the Xochimilco Campus, from 2011 to date he is an evaluator and member of the board of the Mexican Council of Nursing Certification (COMCE), belongs to the board of the National Academy of Nursing of Mexico (ANEM), belongs to the Health Care Research Network where he works on issues of the elderly and emerging adult, member of the academic body of the Care of the Elderly of the Xochimilco Campus.

He has worked in higher and middle level institutions as a teacher, his lines of research derive from gerontogeriatrics, focused on the degree of functionality, resilience, and thanatological aspects. Another line is occupational health, where she works on topics related to professional health and illnesses of Mexican teachers.
