Profile

Professor Claudia Haydee Gonzalez De La Rosa was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, in September 1976. She is a surgeon who graduated in 2001 from the School of Medicine of the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi. She obtained her master's degree in science in 2003 and her Ph.D. with specialty in Molecular Biomedicine in 2006. Both postgraduate degrees were obtained at the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Zacatenco, in Mexico City.

She is a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Cuajimalpa Campus, since January 2, 2007, as a tenured professor. She is a member of the National System of Researchers since 2008 and has a Desirable Profile Recognition, granted by the Ministry of Public Education. She obtained the Academic Career Recognition in 2007 and the Teaching Award in 2015.

She started an Academic Group in 2012, which is currently consolidated. She has participated in the tutorial committees of 10 graduate students, in addition to directing multiple research projects at the undergraduate level. She has directed four research projects funded by federal agencies. She has published 19 research articles, five chapters in scientific books, and seven electronic textbooks at the undergraduate level.

Her main research area is oncology at the molecular level.
