Dr. Claudia Haydée González de la Rosa was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, in 1976. She earned her Medical Degree (MD) in 2001 from the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP). She completed her Master of Science degree in 2003 and her Ph.D. in Science with a concentration in Molecular Biomedicine in 2006, both at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV-IPN), Zacatenco Campus, in Mexico City.

She has served as a full-time Senior Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Cuajimalpa since January 2, 2007. She has been a member of Mexico's National System of Researchers (SNII) since 2008. Her honors include the Academic Career Recognition awarded by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) in 2007 and the Teaching Award granted by UAM Cuajimalpa in 2015.

Her primary research field centers on molecular oncology. Within this field, she has led 5 research projects funded by federal agencies. Her scholarly output encompasses 32 peer-reviewed research articles, one granted patent, 5 scientific book chapters, and 8 undergraduate textbooks.

In student mentorship and academic training, she has served on the advisory committees for 20 graduated postgraduate students, alongside supervising numerous undergraduate research projects.
