Doctor Oscar Lozano Carrillo holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus, a Master's degree, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies from UAM Iztapalapa Campus. He has been a Professor in the Department of Administration at the Azcapotzalco Campus and the Postgraduate Program in Organizational Studies since 2006.

His lines of research are oriented to micro, small and medium enterprises and family businesses; he also specializes in business organization in the tourism sector and strategic analysis in the planning of an entrepreneurial project.

Among the research projects in which he has participated, the following stand out: Practical analysis of management training through information and communication technologies, 2018; The conventional knowledge of the MSME´s company under debate: updating and new topics of study, and The Administrative Sciences: their teaching and new challenges, among others.

Author of the book Strategic Planning and Coordinator of nine books, 12 book chapters, 16 articles in specialized journals, 40 papers, and 35 conferences. Advisor of five doctoral theses, five master's theses, and ten bachelor's theses.

Within his institutional development, his work stands out as the XVI International Congress of Organizational Analysis coordinator Mexican-Canadian Organizational Realities in 2018 and his UAMedia project at the Azcapotzalco Campus.

He has been awarded the University Merit Medal by the UAM, has had the PROMEP desirable profile since 2009, and is a member of the College of Researchers of the Mexican Network of Researchers in Organizational Studies.
