Profile
Dr. Juan Jesús Ocampo Hidalgo holds a Doctorate in Engineering (Dr.-Ing., summa cum laude) from Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany), a Master of Science degree from Cinvestav-IPN, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). His professional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Institut für Mikroelektronische Systeme at TU Darmstadt and as a Design Engineer at Teledyne-AnaFocus in Seville, Spain, where he developed analog and mixed-signal processing solutions for advanced image sensors.
He serves as a Full-Time Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics within the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco.
His research focuses on standard CMOS ultra-low-voltage and ultra-low-power integrated circuit design, Class-AB voltage followers, quasi-floating-gate techniques, and Sigma-Delta modulator architectures tailored for biomedical applications, multi-standard wireless receivers, high-precision A/D conversion, and CMOS image sensors.
