Professor Víctor Manuel Collantes Vázquez has a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Communication Design, with a Master's Degree in Design, Research Line: New Technologies, at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus, with a thesis on "Simulator for entrepreneurs: Business game model for users without administrative and financial professionalization". He has a specialization in Hypermedia and is currently writing his thesis to obtain a doctorate in Information Design and Visualization, also at UAM. The topic is related to the contribution of design to the urban mobility of older adults with disabilities.

In 2018, he obtained the Certification as a Facilitator of Successful Aging at the National Institute of Active Aging. With a broad interest in entrepreneurship, he has had training in efficient product or service promotion (NAFIN), Business Plan (NAFIN), Business Simulation (COMPITE, A.C.), Marketing (EBC), Startup (FUMEC, U.S. Embassy). In 2015, he was part of one of the 15 teams selected nationally for the I-CORP's Pilot Program in Mexico, convened by the National Science Foundation, CONACYT, and the Mexico-US Foundation, participating as an entrepreneurial leader in this workshop that integrated research and entrepreneurship for the first time in Mexico, with an orientation in the generation of companies from the collaboration of researchers with companies in the pursuit of technology transfer.

During his professional career, he has held management positions in the private sector, responsible for planning, graphic and creative development of editorial products and audiovisual and interactive systems.

Since 1999, he has been teaching in different higher education institutions to promote student projects in the audiovisual and graphic areas. Since 2005, he has been part of the academic staff of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design at the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM, where he collaborates as a Professor in the Department of Design Evaluation in Time.
