Professor Adriana Acero Gutiérrez was born in November 1965, in Mexico City. She studied a Master's Degree in Editorial Design at the Universidad Anáhuac-Norte and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Communication Design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus.

She has the University merit medal recognition for the best average of generation 85-89; Scholarship for teaching and scholarship for permanence by the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM; Profile PRODEP.

Professor at the UAM Azcapotzalco Campus from 2005 to date, and at the Universidad Anahuac Norte from 1996 to date. Editor of the magazine "Tecnología & diseño" of the Department of Processes and Techniques of Realization of the Division of Sciences and Arts for the design of the UAM Azcapotzalco Campus (From 1993 to 2020). Editorial design advisor of the magazine "Tiempo de Diseño" divisional of the UAM Azcapotzalco Campus (From 2006 to 2012). Departmental Commission for the analysis of didactic materials (From 2015 to date). Member of the Organizing Committee of the International Congress "Advances of Women in the Sciences, Humanities and all Disciplines" (From 2016 to date) .
