Back in Mexico, she did a postdoctoral stay at the Iztapalapa Campus of the UAM.
She has had a permanent position at the UAM Azcapotzalco Campus for the last three years. She has directed four undergraduate theses where she studies physicochemical properties of periodic systems and molecules using density functional theory. She belongs to the National System of Researchers, Level I.
She has exhibited her research work at international and national congresses. In the summer of 2018, she was a visiting professor at Sichuan University, China.
