Doctor María Del Carmen Monroy Dosta is a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Xochimilco Campus at the Biological and Health Sciences Division in the Department of Man and his Environment. Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Biology.
Research project: "Selection and application of functional foods (prebiotics, probiotics, symbiotics and plant extracts) to improve the survival, growth, reproduction and immune response of aquatic organisms". She has more than 30 research articles published in JCR Indexed Journals and 15 Dissemination Articles. Among them are Aquaculture Nutrition, Aquaculture, Aquaculture Research, Hidrobiólogica, and Latinoamenrican Journal Aquaculture Research, among others.
