She graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Iztapalapa Campus, with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Science (Mathematics). Subsequently, she completed her doctoral studies in Mathematical Sciences at the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
During her master's and doctoral studies, she was fortunate to work under the direction of Dr. Rogelio Fernández Alonso, a great example of human and academic quality.
Since 2006, she has worked as a professor teaching various courses at the undergraduate level. In 2016, she joined as an associate professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco Campus. She is a member of the Algebra, Geometry, and Scientific Computing Area of the Basic Sciences Department of this university.
Her areas of interest include Ring and Module Theory, Lattice Theory, Preradical Theory, as well as Representation Theory, in particular, the connection between the representation type of an algebra and its lattice of preradicals.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, taking long walks, and spending time with her family.
