Professor Felipe De Jesús Moreno Galván is an Architect by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, 1999 (UAM). Master in Sciences and Arts for Design in the area of Environmental Sustainability (2000) and Doctor in Sciences and Arts for Design in the area of Research and Territorial Management (2008), obtaining the medal for university merit in both degrees. He completed a postdoctoral stay in a project sponsored by Conacyt (2009-2011) and another by the UAM, Xochimilco Campus (2011-2012), held the Héctor Marcovich Chair for external professors of high academic level (2012-2014), and was Conacyt Professor assigned to the Instituto Tecnológico de Cancún (2014-2016).

Since 2016 he has been a professor at the Xochimilco Campus where he was coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Territorial Planning (2016-2018). National Researcher Level I, by the SNI of Conacyt (2017-2019). Research Award 2018 in the Area of Sciences and Arts for Design, awarded by the UAM. He has published 14 book chapters, one authored book, and four co-authored books, in addition to several articles on social movements, urban structures, segregation, and vulnerability.
