Professor María Adriana Cecilia Cruz Flores holds a Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences from the University of Guadalajara and a Master's Degree in Occupational Health Sciences and Sociology of Work from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

She is part of the academic and research staff of the Master of Science in Occupational Health Sciences at the UAM Xochimilco Campus. She has a diploma in Statistics and another in Pedagogical Leveling.

She has taken several courses related to Occupational Health and Safety, directed several master's theses, and participated in various national and international events. She has several publications in specialized magazines. She is a member of the Network of Researchers on Psychosocial Factors at Work and of the Latin American Association of Social Medicine, Mexico region.

She belongs to the Health-Work research area. Her research focuses on the relationship between daily life, gender, work, and health, particularly in vulnerable working populations.
