Professor Adriana Morales Otal is a Biologist graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAm) Iztapalapa Campus. She has a Master's degree in Physiological Sciences from the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas, from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and later completed a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at the Iztapalapa Campus.

For 22 years, she has been a Professor in the Neurosciences Area of the Department of Reproductive Biology at the UAM, Iztapalapa Campus. Her research interests are the Regulation of Male and Female Sexual Behavior in the Rat: brain Sexual Differentiation and Biological Models of Premature Ejaculation and Sexual Orientation.

She teaches General Physiology and Genetics, Bioethics, Biological Rhythms, Advances in Biotechnologies, Neuroendocrinology, and Neurosciences. She has several chapters, books, and scientific articles in high-impact journals. She has dedicated herself to training students who have completed undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees in her Laboratory of Neurohistology and Behavior at the Iztapalapa Campus.

In addition to being a neuroscientist, she has been interested in Sexual Diversity, which has led her to take a Diploma in Human Sexuality and has been trained as a Sex Educator.
