Professor Angélica Rosas Huerta holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences specializing in Society and Territory from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM). She was in charge of the Department of Politics and Culture at the UAM, Xochimilco Campus. She was also director of the Revista Política y Cultura and coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Social Management, and head of the Culture and Society area of the Xochimilco Campus of the UAM. She is a member of the National System of Researchers with level I, and of the Academic Committee of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Policy and Management. She is part of the Basic Core of professors of the Master's Degree in Public Policy.

She has coordinated and participated in several national and international researches on topics related to climate change management and evaluation of public programs and state agencies. She has published chapters and articles in books and journals at the national and international levels.
