Profile

Professor Hilario Terres Peña was born in Mexico City in 1969. He received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM). Master´s and Ph.D. studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN).

Member of the National System of Researchers Level I from 2016 to 2018. In his discipline of study, he has developed prototypes such as solar stoves, solar dryers, solar distillers, and solar concentrators. He has been a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and ANES.
