The master's degree in the line of Arte contemporáneo en México is currently being processed before the SEP, at the University Center for Humanistic Integration (2017-2019), with the topic El proceso de conceptualización del diseño sustentado en el arte. She has postgraduate studies in the line of urban history at the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM and is a graduate of the same Institution with a degree in Architecture.
Among the most important positions at the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM are those of Responsable del colectivo del Tronco general of the Departamento de Evaluación (2018 to date), member of the Comité de estudios of the degree in architecture (2020 to date), Secretaria académica of the División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño (2013), Coordinadora divisional de docencia (2010-2013) and Coordinadora divisional del tronco general (2005 – 2009).
She belongs to the academic area of Historia del diseño of the Departamento de Evaluación of the División CyAD, being responsible for the Urban-architectural projects: “El maestro de obras Manuel Gutiérrez en la Guerrero (1845-1917)”, “La Guadalupe y sus facturas. Para un ejemplo de la imagen gráfica y urbana de finales del siglo XIX”. Likewise, she in research focused on teaching and training students: “El hacer diseño como un proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje sustentado en el hacer y crear arte”. With the focus of Identity and society: “La imagen guadalupana como un agente de inclusión social y configuración de identidad dentro del movimiento chicano” and from “1919 a un siglo del arte, la historia y el diseño”. Currently, the process has begun to submit the urban-architectural research project of La Laguna de la Piedad to the Consejo divisional CyAD.
She has published more than 20 publications and given conferences focused on research projects related to the history of design and urban history. Likewise, about art in teaching and about different topics of teaching that impact all degrees in the División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño.
Currently she teaches the UEA of Taller de proyecto terminal I, within the Tronco de integración of the Architecture degree (consisting of three quarters), a project that is developed so that the students acquire the architecture degree. In this academic space they have carried out the urban-architectural project of the La Laguna La Piedad urban park, with ecological and social proposals that seek to solve the problems of the area.
In its architecture workshop courses, it has always sought for students to develop urban-architectural projects that solve real problems in the area where it is intended to impact, with an ecological vision, such as the Ferrería Market, Singing and music theory schools, Community kitchens, Libraries, Experimental art and design museums for young people, etc., all located in the Alcaldía de Azcapotzalco.
