Profile

Professor Miguel Ángel Mosqueda Cabrera was born in Mexico City. In 1987, he began his studies in Biology at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Xochimilco Campus and graduated in 1991. His final research topic focused on the life cycle of a helminth with a heteroxenous life cycle that was previously unknown.

His contributions to the field of knowledge include elucidating the life cycle of Gnathostoma turgidum and discovering the annual biology of Millerichthys robustus.

He teaches about the life cycles of vertebrate helminths, their population dynamics, and their impact on ecosystems.
