Professor Roberto Constantino, originally from Veracruz, Mexico, is an environmental economist who specializes in macro-econometric modeling. His research work aims to study the transmission mechanisms of fiscal and monetary policy on the technological use of natural resources with an emphasis on water. His work addresses emerging issues such as National Security and Water in Mexico, as well as the Analysis of Alternative Strategies for Water Management in the face of Climate Change.

He has been part of, and also directed, multidisciplinary research teams nationally and internationally in water studies. The results of his research work have contributed to the strengthening of pricing strategies applied to water consumption in the Valley of Mexico with a socially inclusive perspective. She is currently part of the Water Research Network of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
