Professor María Georgina Aguilar Montoya is an Industrial Designer and Master in Design from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus. She is a Professor in the Department of Environment in the Area of Factors of the Artificial Environment and a Member of the Ergonomics Laboratory.

She participates in the Research Program on Childhood, is responsible for the Collective "Industrial Design in the Environment", coordinator of various research projects related to the design of technical aids and didactic and recreational materials to promote the habilitation, rehabilitation and / or integration of children and young people with disabilities. Projects of design of materials to promote the awareness of the population with respect to the topic of disability.

Co-author of several articles related to Design, Ergonomics and Disability and of the book Principios Básicos para la Accesibilidad en Instituciones de Educación Superior (Basic Principles for Accessibility in Higher Education Institutions).
