These projects ranged from prospective studies, evaluations of social programs, and collaborative projects. She has also coordinated academic research projects with rural communities.

In recent years, she has focused on aspects related to the environmental problem and the analysis of the impact generated by global dynamics on the resources of the Latin American region. Beyond the description of the serious situation and the risk that our countries face from the large corporations that exploit the natural resources of the region, she has been interested in studying the alternatives that rural communities are building and how to confront and defend their resources by generating alternative ways of life for their populations.
