Professor Felipe De Jesús Padilla Aguilar holds a Master's degree from the Escuela Superior de Economía del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). He is currently a an Academic Technician at the Department of Economics in the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Azcapotzalco Campus.

His area of research is developed in the North American economy for its transcendence worldwide, which is essential in studying its economy since it is the hegemonic country worldwide. The North American economy is important for being a worldwide power, but like any economy it has imbalances in some economic variables such as the external sector, public deficit, etc. these imbalances make it an interesting subject for research.
