Profile
Professor Marco Antonio Marín Álvarez was born in August 1966 in Mexico City. He holds a Ph.D. in design with a specialty in new technologies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus, a Master´s in Administration with a specialty in Strategic Marketing from Universidad del Valle de México, Lomas Verdes, and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Communication Design from UAM Azcapotzalco Campus.
Within his trayectory, he has received several academic awards such as: Scholarship to support teaching from 1996 to date (renewable every year) UAM Azcapotzalco Campus; scholarship of permanence from 1998 to date (renewable with different periods of time). UAM Azcapotzalco Campus. PRODEP profile from 2006 to date; honorable mention in doctoral degree exam; winner of the "University Merit" medal, awarded to the best student of the 2008-2011 generation of the doctorate in design, UAM Azcapotzalco Campus; honorable mention in the Master's degree exam. Recognition as the best student of the Master's generation.
