Profile
Professor Baltazar Aguirre Hernandez was born in Mexico City, Mexico in 1966. He obtained his degree in mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 1993. In 1995 he obtained his Master of Science degree from CINVESTAV, Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and his Ph.D. was awarded in 1998 at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus, where he is currently working.
His topics of interest are polynomial stability, qualitative theory of differential equations, and the polynomial approach to the study of entanglements in systems of differential equations.
