Professor Susana Aurora Macin Cabrera studied Dental Surgery at the Universidad Latinoamericana; the Specialty in Periodontics, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM); Diploma in Advanced Studies, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain; Doctorate in Dental Sciences, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Defense of Doctoral Thesis with obtaining "CUM LAUDE".

Her research interests include: Physical Modifications of drugs and drug development; use and consumption of insects as nutraceuticals in San Juan Ixcaquixtla, State of Puebla; and Immunological, microbiological and genetic biomarkers in periodontal disease. The Professor belongs to the Academic Group of Molecular Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy, and Pharmaceutical Care.
