Dr. Norma Angélica Noguez Méndez is a Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist by the UAM (1987), Master in Pharmacy (Biopharmacy) by the Faculty of Chemistry of the UNAM (1998) and PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry of the UNAM (2015). Researcher of the Department of Biological Systems and teacher of the career of Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist, Master and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master in Dental Sciences and in the Doctorate in Biological and Health Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Xochimilco Campus.

Head of the Pharmaceutical Technology Research Area from 2014 to 2019. Currently Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist since 2022- .Participation in the Academic Committee of the Master's and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2015-. Numerary Member of the Committee of Pharmaceutical Preparations of the Pharmacopoeia of the United Mexican States since 1997-, member of the National Technical Committee of Standardization in Nanotechnologies and of the International Standardization Committee Mirror of ISO TC 229 since 2010-. Participation in the Secretariat of Social Development of CDMX with the support of courses in Dispensing medicines and health supplies in pharmacies 2-6 October 2017.

Participation in the COPHELA project (Cooperation in Quality Assurance for Pharmacy Education and Training between Europe and Latin America) in 2018. Participation in CIFRHUS in the Evaluation of Programs and Curricula related to QFB and Pharmacy since 2010. In the Polymer Synthesis Laboratory, the research project "Development and evaluation of microprocesses (microfluidics) for obtaining innovative pharmaceutical forms" is carried out, working from the synthesis and characterization of polymers for the design of prototypes of oxygen carriers (polymerosomes) and drug transporters, natural active substances with the application of microprocesses, design and validation of analytical methods for the quantification of active pharmaceutical ingredients, determination of dissolution profiles for bioequivalence and biopharmaceutical studies. To date, there have been 6 patent developments, training of human resources 35 social services, 12 graduate theses and 20 articles (national, international and dissemination).
