Profile

Professor Mónica Patricia Stevens Ramírez holds a Master's Degree in Education with a specialization in Human Resources Administration, Education and Training from Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo. She has a Diploma in Small and Medium Business Administration from Universidad La Salle A.C., a Diploma in Integral Learning from Human Potential & Business - Mexico, a graduate of the International Fundraising Strategies and Techniques Seminar, and an Industrial Designer from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

For 27 years, she has been a Professor and researcher at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus; she is a Professor in the Department of Processes and Techniques of Realization of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design, where she teaches UEAs such as Professional Promotion, Costs and Budgets, Earth and Stone Materials, Creative Visualization, Product Development, Digital Design of Work Portfolio among others.

She has participated in Continuing Education programs and as an Instructor representing the University, as well as supporting as a guest professor at other institutions such as: Universidad del Estado de México Campus Zumpango, Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Mexico City, Universidad Las Américas Campus Mexico City, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Xochimilco Campus, Universidad de Colima, Delegación Gustavo A. Madero, Cámara de Diputados and other institutions at middle and high school level.

Within the Institutional Management, she is a member of the Area of Administration and Technology for Design and Architecture, she has been Coordinator of Liaison of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design of UAM Azcapotzalco Campus (2016-2017), Coordinator of the Solid Waste Line of the PISUS Program Sierra Nevada - Tlalmanalco Edo. de México, where she conducted the Earth Charter Workshop with Mtro. Mateo Castillo Ceja fulfilling the main objective of incorporating reflection and ethical vision of sustainability in decision-making processes and organizational modus operandi.

From 2000 to 2015, she held the position of head of the Academic Development Section of the Azcapotzalco Campus, where she coordinated activities in the areas of leadership, communication, values, human development, creativity, and motivation, being responsible for the following programs: Annual Human Development Program, Creative Leaders Seminar, Talent in Development Congress, Rally Identity UAM "Dejando Huella". From 1996 to 2000, she was Departmental Coordinator of the Industrial Design Degree.

Founding Partner of Glasso Diseño, a company dedicated to interior decoration, lighting, recognition and sculpture.
