Profile

Professor Francisco Javier Sánchez Rangel was born in Mexico City. He is an Electronics Technician awarded by the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Electronics Engineer (specializing in Digital Systems), and Master´s in Computer Science (specializing in Scientific Computing and Information Systems) awarded by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus and distinguished with the University Merit Medal for his master's studies. He has the Desirable Profile (PRODEP) since July 2011.

He is currently responsible for the research project: "Performance evaluation of LoRa and Bluetooth LE technologies in LPWAN network implementation" belonging to the Digital Systems Research Area, whose objective is to evaluate the performance parameters of Long Range (LoRa) and Bluetooth LE technologies in LPWAN networks for comparison in remote monitoring applications of temperature and humidity, to drive an AC actuator.

He is also a participant in the research project of the Digital Systems Research Area: "Highly Available Computing System". The objective of this project is to design, configure and implement a computing system composed of a cluster of two Linux servers to provide high availability of a mission critical application. In the development of both projects, a large number of work products have been generated, such as: Conferences, papers, articles published in conference proceedings and specialized magazines.

Human resources have also been generated from these projects through the Social Service Project: "LoRa, Bluetooth LE and IoT Technologies", for which he is responsible.

He also participates in the Committee of the journal of the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering "Conexión CBI" and in the Inter and Multidisciplinary Committee of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco Campus.
