Profile

Doctor Jorge Antonio Amézquita Landeros was born in November 1957, he studied Medicine and Surgery at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus in 1982 and Law at the Universidad ICEL in 2012. He has specialties in general surgery, coloproctology, and colon and rectum surgery. His in-service training includes gynecologic oncology 1994, laparoscopic surgery 1993, advanced trauma life support 1993, breast oncologic surgery 1994, vascular surgery 1995, endoscopic ultrasound 2006.

He has two master's degrees, the first in 2006 at the International Center of Foresight and High Studies, Puebla, and the second in criminal procedural law, National Institute of Criminal Law. Received his degree in December 2017. Professional license in process.
He has a doctorate in continuing education at CIPAE Puebla, 2008 and in law with specialization in human rights, obtaining 100% of academic credits November 2017. In process of graduation.

Professor at the department of Surgery, faculty of medicine, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), 2010 to date.
He wrote the book "Todo está bien, pero. " (short story); 150th anniversary of the National Academy of Medicine, palabras y plumas editores, Mexico, in press.

He was director of specialty thesis "Complications of appendectomy" Naval Medical Center 1993; director of doctoral thesis "New paradigm in the teaching of chronic degenerative disease, Eduardo Gámez Valdez CIPAE; doctoral thesis director "Development of communication skills and competencies in the training of medical students", Adriana Clemente Herrera, CIPAE.
