Professor Guillermo Ejea Mendoza holds a Ph.D. in Design and Urban Studies, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus. Thesis: Real estate market and urban morphology in Mexico City and its Metropolitan Zone 1950-2010. Scope and limits of state regulation.

Master in Comparative Public Policy (FLACSO-Mexico). Thesis: Public policy and institutional management in higher education. Organizational factors and change in educational quality. The case of UAM 2001-2006. B.A. in Economics (UAM Iztapalapa Campus). Thesis: Nucleoelectricity and development in Mexico.

Current lines of research: Development and Economic Policy, Public Policies and Development, Territorial Policies and Urban Development, Philosophy and Methodology of Economics.

He is part of the Institutional Economics Research Group of the Economics Department of Azcapotzalco Campus.
