Profile
Doctor Federico Lazarín Miranda is a full-time Research Professor, member of the Area of History of the State and Society, Academic Group of World History at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.
He has a Ph.D. in the History of Mexico from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2004), is a National Researcher, and has a PRODEP-SEP profile. He is a founding member of the Mexican Society of History of Education and a Member of the Association of Historians of Sciences and Humanities.
He is a founding member of the Mexican Society of History of Education, a member of the Association of Historians of Sciences and Humanities, and a Coordinator of the Manuel Sandoval Vallarta Scientific Historical Archive of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.
He has published articles in national and international journals on the history of education, the history of science, military history in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and archival science. He has also participated in national and international academic events.
