Profile
The teacher Aida del Rosario Malpica Sánchez is a full time professor, and joined UAM since 1984. Teacher in Science (Biology) by the Faculty of Sciences of the UNAM. Teacher in Law and Environmental Policies by the Jacobean School of Postgraduate, Xalapa, Veracruz.
Mainly, research has been aimed at nutrition aspects in aquaculture, quality and water use, and comprehensive water management in factors of production and conservation of aquatic species.
Research work has also been aimed at promoting the culture of water through the sustainable use of the resource through the use of water recirculation systems that allow the savings of it. So also to encourage water culture, sustainable development projects have also participated in socioecological systems and environmental education.
The most worked areas are Xochimilco and similar areas where the water resource is of the treated residual type.
