Clara Elena Valladares Sánchez is a Professor at the Department of Economics in the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Campus (1996 - to date), and Xochimilco Campus (1984 - 1996).

She belongs to the research area "Strategic Planning of Companies" and the Academic Body "Mexican Business Strategy," currently evaluated In Consolidation. She has a Master in Educational Technology from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, Mexico. A Master in Administration (Organizations) from the Division of Postgraduate Studies of the Faculty of Accounting and Administration of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM. Degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Accounting and Administration, UNAM. In 2010, she received the Teaching Award in the XIX Edition.

The lines of research are:
. Quality Management in HEI. Quality Management Systems were implemented in the Division of Biological and Health Sciences and the Campus Secretariat, with its administrative coordination in the Iztapalapa Campus. The Unit Secretariat and its administrative coordination in the Xochimilco Campus and the "Miguel León Portilla" Library of the Cuajimalpa Campus. The result has been an improvement in the services provided by the areas mentioned above.

The Self-Assessment Commissions of the Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences and the Master's Degree in Neurological Rehabilitation of the Xochimilco Campus were coordinated, which obtained the Ibero-American Postgraduate University Association Award (AUIP) for the Quality of Postgraduate and Doctorate in Ibero-America 5th and sixth respectively. Social service students have been trained in this area and developing training courses for students and graduates.

. Accounting and tax strategies in the MIPyME. The tax advisory program was created that provides these services to the community with the support of previously trained social service students. The "ASPEL" Accounting and Administrative Management System Diploma was also created for the MIPyME.

. Learning styles in mixed and distance learning environments. The development of educational resources that encourage student learning is ultimately reflected in improving their evaluations.
