Professor Silvia Pomar Fernández has a doctorate in Management Sciences from the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3, Lyon France and a doctorate in Organizational Studies from the Universidad Autónoma Metroploitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus; she received her master's degree in administration, a bachelor`s in accounting, a Specialty in Corporate Law by the Instituto Tecnologico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a diploma in business capacity development from the University of the Andes Santa Fe de Bogotá.

She has been a member of the National System of Researchers Level I since 2007 to date. PRODEP career recognition and

She has participated in various projects like Network Organizations and Regional Development, in the project: strategies for regional development and organizations in rural communities. With the partitioning of five Mexican universities and the University of Missions Argentina, Warsaw University, Poland. As a result of this project A collective book was written "Las organizaciones y estrategia en comunidades rurales una mirada al desarrollo local y la política pública en Warsaw, Polonia" in addition to a magazine published in Warsaw with the topic: Socioeconomic and environmental vulnerability in the local and regional context.
