Professor Ruperto Leonardo Salgado Juárez is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Basic Sciences and Engineering Division of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.

He studied Industrial Chemistry at the School of Chemical Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering in 2004 and did a research stay at CIDETEQ in 2005.
