Professor Lucia Constanza Ibarra Cruz is an architect from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus, she has a Master's degree in Research and Teaching from the Faculty of Architecture at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mèxico (UNAM) and a Doctorate in Strategic Communication Thought by the Eulalian Communication Ferrer Center, Cadec.

She received a Diploma and completed Management Courses on Cultural Heritage, Ecodesign, Planning, Food and Beverage Design for Hospitality and Tourism, Design and Plastic Arts at the Academy of San Carlos, UNAM.

Professor Ibarra has participated in seminars and national and international congresses on cultural management and equity. She has been a speaker in several national and international congresses related to research methodology, patrimonial architecture, and cultural heritage management. She has also participated in several research projects such as: The San Felipe Bacalar, Camp., The Exhacienda de Jaral de Berrio., Gto., The Fort of Guadalupe, Puebla, Qualitative Research Methodology for the Teaching of Architecture and the Industrial design. Strategic communication, case of magic peoples. The Bauhaus and dual education.

Professor Ibarra has been a research professor in the Science and Arts Division for Design of the UAM Xochimilco Campus since 1983. She teaches Research Methodology, a research workshop for the Graduates of Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM and Postgraduates of Cyad at the Xochimilco Campus. She has been a thesis tutor and jury of more than 45 theses for the graduates of the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM. She has professional experience in architectural projects, construction, and construction supervision since 1986.
