Professor Teleforo Nava Vázquez has a degree in Economics, he is a graduate from the Universidad Nacional Autonóma de Mexico (UNAM) with honorable mention and has a Master in Latin American studies, (UNAM), he graduated with honorable mention and doctoral studies in Latin American studies, (UNAM).

Professor Telesforo Nava Vázquez has been a Research professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) from July 6, 1981 to the date and a professor of graduates in (UNAM), from 1983 to date. He has written 796 published newspaper articles, 35 published disclosure items. 55 specialized articles published in magazines and books, 4 coordinated books, 1 as co-author of the ¨Plataforma Electoral, Un Mexico Para Todos¨, which with Engineer Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas won the Government Headquarters of the Federal District. He has 57 conferences dictated and 55 papers presented at specialized events.

Professor Teleforo Nava Vázquez worked as divisional counselor, academic advisor on two occasions and academic collegiate, currently. Advisor to Labor Affairs in the Government Officer of DF, from November 1998 to December 2000. Technical Secretary of the Committee on Budget Public Account of the Legislative Assembly of DF, January 2001 to June 2003. Counselor President of the Union of the Academic Staff of the UAM, 2010-2012.
