Professor Arturo Hernández Escalante graduated as an Electrical Mechanical Engineer at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 1978 and he studied the master's degree in digital electronics in DEPFI, in 1983 at UNAM.

He wrote books on introduction to physics, physics and design, mechanisms, physics applied to design, the strength of materials, identification and selection of new materials, tooling design for production, and statistics for the industrial designer.

He has taught courses on group dynamics, participating in congresses with the same topic at the II Design Meeting in Havana Cuba in 1992, as well as in Chillan, Chile in 1996.

He worked at ENEP Aragón, from 1978 to 1980. Faculty of Engineering, from 1978 to 1992. Universidad la Salle at the School of Engineering, from 1992 to 1995. In Industrial Instrument Service from 1980 to 1995, in the maintenance of measurement equipment And control. He currently works at UAM, Azcapotzalco, in the Department of Realization Process and Techniques, from 1982 to date.

His research concerning "application and impact of new technologies, to take vital signs in electronic distance", was presented internationally at the "X International Design Congress of Havana" Cuba, 4 to 7 June of 2019, which has been its thesis topic to obtain the degree of doctor in design.
