Professor Edmundo Gerardo Urbina Medal is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.

He has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from UAM and has been Coordinator of the Electronics teaching laboratories, Coordinator of the Biomedical Engineering Degree and Coordinator of the Divisional Office of Teaching and Student Services of the Basic Sciences and Engineering Division.
