Professor Javier Rodríguez Lagunas is a doctor in sociology by the division of postgraduate studies of the Faculty of Political and Social Science, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Professor and Researcher in the Sociology Department of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus. He is a specialist in topics of higher education and professional work.
He has compiled the following works: Vocational Training and Labor Situation of the UAM graduates at Iztapalapa Campus; The graduate of the UAM Iztapalapa Campus work achievement and perception of school dropout in the UAM Iztapalapa Campus problems to be resolved to move forward; University integration. Students before the current university and Mexican students before the university reforms. A compared study; The University Educational Reforms. Critical perspectives and vision of the future of academics; and finally The Mexican academics in the face of university reforms.
He has a desirable Promep Profile, he is a member of the National Network for Competitiveness and Innovation in the Work of Styps; Member of the Mexican Council of Educational Research (Comie).
He currently directs the Teaching Laboratory and the University Student (LADEU) of the Department of Sociology, CSH, UAM Iztapalapa Campus.
