Profile
Doctor Salvador Ramón Tello Solís belongs to the Academic Area of Biophysicochemistry of the Department of Chemistry of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Campus. He currently belongs to the National System of Researchers Level I, has a PRODEP Profile and belongs to the Academic Body of Biophysicochemistry from the UAM, Iztapalapa Campus.
The line of research in which he works is "Structure and Stability of Proteins" where fields of research have been developed in the purification of proteins (mainly enzymes), thermodynamic studies of the denaturation-renaturation process, studies of the secondary structure-relationship activity, as well as, experimental studies of non-covalent interactions between a protein and a binder. He has 60 articles published in both indexed and peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Tello Solís has been responsible for a project approved and financed by Conacyt and a participant in projects approved by the UAM.
Dr. Tello Solís has collaborated with professors from the Division of Biological and Health Sciences of UAM and also with researchers from the Institute of Chemistry and Materials Research Institute of UNAM.
Dr. Tello-Solís has participated in the training of human resources in both bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. He has been awarded the Teaching Award (2006), and also participates widely in the dissemination of culture at all levels.
