Profile
Professor Alfredo Macias has a Ph.D. under the supervision of Heinz Dehnen and Octavio Obregon in Physics by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Campus.
He has 201 publications, 93 articles, nine chapters in books, one book, 17 edited books, 44 Intended memories, 37 educational publications, 1229 appointments to his work, 32 organized events, 107 conferences taught, and 15 research projects.
He has directed three doctorates and has one in process, two postdoctorates and one master's theses, and four social services.
He has been the founding President of the Mathematical Gravitation and Physics Division of the SMF (1992-1994). He has a membership of the Mexican Academy of Sciences since 1997 and; Member of the International Coordinating Committee of the Marcel Grossmann Meeting since 2002. Member of the Jury of the 2013 Award, President of the Parallel Scalar Fields in Cosmology at the Marcel Grossmann Meeting, Rome, Italy, 2015 and 2018. He has recognition as an outstanding evaluator ( Outstanding Referee) of the American Physical Society (APS), 2008 and a Collaboration Agreement: International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics (ICRA, Italy) - UAM (Mexico),
Evaluator of "Scholarships CONACYT - DAAD 2007 and 2008", of the call: "Becas Bicentenario en el extranjero CONACYT 2010" and evaluator (referee) of international journals: Physical Review Letters, Physical Review D, Classical and Quantum Gravity Advances in Space Research, European Physical Journal C, Journal of Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics, among others.
