Professor Guadalupe Robles Pinto studied a Bachelor´s degree in Dental Surgery at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Specialization in Fixed, Removable Partial Prosthesis, and Occlusion at the Center for Research and Specialization in Oral Rehabilitation and a Master´s in Dental Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

Her university participation has been as Project Manager of the Tepepan Stomatological Clinic, participation in the Judging Commission of Biological and Health Sciences, and the Social Service Commission.

The Stomatological Clinics, are spaces of the Stomatology Degree where research is developed and integrated with teaching and service, this allows giving an accurate diagnosis and comprehensive care to patients who come to request a consultation for relief and solution to their oral health problems. For these purposes, dental radiographs are auxiliary to diagnosis and an adequate treatment plan since there are dental and oral structures that are not seen clinically, but it is known that if this practice is abused and if protective measures are not taken Adequate to protect the patient and the dental professional, there may be health alterations, so dosimetry is a way of knowing if students are receiving doses higher than those allowed by the Official Standard. This knowledge will allow the students to prevent health problems in themselves and their patients.
